1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FoodExpoConnect ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FoodExpoConnect provides:

AI-powered B2B food trade intelligence platform
AI research assistant for trade show exhibitor contact information
Email enrichment and verification services
Subscription plans (FREE, GROWTH, PRO, ENTERPRISE)
Export functionality for research results

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Prohibited Uses

Sharing accounts with multiple users
Automated scraping or data harvesting from our platform
Reselling or redistributing AI research results or enriched data
Uploading malicious code or spam
Impersonating others or providing false information
Using exported data for illegal or unsolicited marketing purposes

4. Subscription Plans

4.1 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Payments are processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.

4.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription anytime. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds for partial months.

4.3 Usage Limits

Exceeding limits will result in upgrade prompts or service suspension.

FREE: 10 AI conversations/month, 10 exports/month
GROWTH: 100 AI conversations/month, 50 exports/month
PRO: 500 AI conversations/month, 200 exports/month
ENTERPRISE: Unlimited AI conversations and exports

5. AI Research & Data Export

5.1 AI Conversation Usage

Our AI research assistant provides exhibitor information based on publicly available data from trade shows. Each AI conversation counts toward your monthly tier limit.

5.2 Email Enrichment Services

We use AI and web scraping to enrich company contact information. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee 100% deliverability of enriched emails.

5.3 Data Export Restrictions

Exported data is for your internal business use only. You may not:

Resell or redistribute exported contact data
Add contacts to public databases or spam lists
Use exported data for unsolicited bulk email (spam)
Violate anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or CASL

6. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services including Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), OpenAI (AI services), and Resend (email delivery). Your use of these services through our platform is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and data on FoodExpoConnect are our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission.

8. Disclaimers

8.1 Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows may cause temporary outages.

8.2 Data Accuracy

While we verify exhibitor data, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. Contact information may change after collection. AI-generated content may contain errors.

8.3 No Business Outcome Guarantees

FoodExpoConnect provides tools and data but does not guarantee sales, partnerships, or business success. Your results depend on your own efforts and market conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FOODEXPOCONNECT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities
Data loss or corruption
Actions of third parties (affiliate partners, exhibitors)

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify FoodExpoConnect against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

Violation of these Terms
Non-payment of fees
Fraudulent activity
Abuse of the Service

Upon termination, your access to purchased leads and data will be revoked.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email 30 days in advance.
